Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday - Recently, I really enjoyed the JLo, Michelle Obama, Joel Osteen interviews. Deep dive into the soul of the people she’s talking to, Oprah, once the queen of daytime talk shows, is now the queen of podcasts as she clearly has an innate ability to get people, often famous people, to share perspectives and parts of their life we haven’t heard before.

Second Life - Who What Wear founder Hillary Kerr has done a great job of interviewing a wide range of female entrepreneurs about their second life. The second phase of their career as an entrepreneur that really took off after often starting in corporate roles. Favorites include - Alison Roman, Tina Craig, Sallie Krawcheck, Christina Tosi and Eva Chen.

Goop - Few brands manage to polarize popular opinion the same way Goop does but for what it’s worth, Chief Content Officer Elise Loehnen does an excellent job interviewing the wide range of guests. A light listen for the most part but I’ve really enjoyed interviews with Greg McKeown, Kevin Systrom, Ada Calhoun and Robin DiAngelo recently.

How I Built This - For me this is the OG of podcasts, the one that really sucked me in. Guy Raz is such a talented host and really manages to get people to tell the story of their business in such an engaging way. So much to learn about the brands we’ve all come to know and love and so much to learn about business in general. Favorites include Mariam Naficy, Sara Blakely, Tristan Walker and Raegan Moya-Jones.

Hospitality Design, What I’ve Learned - I found this one fairly recently and as we do so much work in the design industry, this one felt especially relevant. I’ve always had a fascination with hotels and learning from some of the best in the business about how they do, what they do, has been really enjoyable. Favorites include David Rockwell, Andre Fu, Kit Kemp and Ian Schrager and Charlie North.

Also, have to give a shout out to the podcast creators of the kids shows Story Pirates, Smash Boom Best, Wow in The World and But Why. We’ve spent a good amount of time listening to kids podcast over the past few weeks and these ones are engaging for my 6 year old, interesting for me and create a whole new world of conversations for us at home!
