Tracy’s Daily Essentials List:

I usually start my morning with a few strong (and very necessary) cups of coffee out of these Pthalo Blue ANK Ceramics mugs. The color was meant to match the exterior of the studio/store.

After the morning routine with the kids (breakfast, get dressed, class zoom meetings), I transition into this tea from Leaves and Flowers, it is so soothing. When we were all in the office together, we would share large pots of tea, it was our way of caring for each other (with sweet treats too of course!).

These Appointed Project Notebooks are my favorite. Each page has a tasks section you can check off and the grid paper is perfect for quickly sketching floor plans or furniture designs. They have a hardcover so even with daily use, it weathers the storm. I have gone through more of these than I can count and even have one monogrammed with TP, my initials before I married. Perhaps a bit ironic considering the insane stockpiling…

With all the hand washing we’ve all be doing these days, this and this make the very necessary process feel that much nicer.

I have been in charge of three meals and two snacks a day, so this butcher block is now a permanent fixture on my countertop and is starting to patina beautifully. Here is another tool I always carry around with me. We have about a dozen tape measurers floating around the office, but we always seem to be looking for them.

When I need to find moments of calm in our high energy home, I typically light an Aieul Altar candle. When we worked from the studio we burned through a countless number of candles, but Altar was always the team favorite.

Saving the best for last. With all the zoom meetings, my favorite combo to look and feel my best also happen to be designed by two of my favorite mamas. These Harwell Godfrey stud earrings make me feel polished and rarely leave my ears. And these, I could live and sleep forever and a day in these Sister Katie shirts.

You can find all these great local items sold at The House by Tracy Simmons Design located at 3307 Sacramento St, San Francisco, CA.
